GIVE ME I PRAY, A GREATER DESIRE TO BE LIKE JESUS

Pray - Father I agree with Your Word that it is Your plan for me that I become more and more like Jesus. Your Word says that if I claim to know Jesus, I must live as He did. (Pause and ask the Holy Spirit to show you areas of your life that are not like Christ. Pray further.)

Confess those things that do not represent Jesus.

Ask for a fresh filling of the Holy Spirit that you might be strengthened to live like Jesus.

GIVE ME A GREATER HUNGER FOR YOUR WORD O GOD

May I make room for and allow the Word to truly dwell richly in me. (Pause and consider what this presently looks like in your life. What needs to change in order to allow more room for the Word to grow? Pray about these things) Colossians 3:17

May Your words be fixed in my heart and mind, hidden within me, that I might not sin against You. (Ask the Holy Spirit to remind you of His Word and help you to memorize it) Deut. 6:6; Psalm 119:11

May I not just listen or read Your Word, may I obey and do as it says. (Ask the Holy Spirit to show you any area of your life where there is disobedience or where you’ve made excuses for sin. Pray further). James 1:22
