Emily Kim

Community Life Coordinator

I was born in Seoul, Korea, and moved to Bangkok as a child. I’ve spent most of my life in Thailand, where I attended international school and university and began a career in hospitality. Being part of diverse communities has broadened my perspective on people and cultures. I enjoy listening to people’s stories and learning about their backgrounds and life experiences, which deepens my appreciation for how we are all made in God's image and intricately designed by Him.

If I’m not at home or at the office, I’m spending time with my mom or catching up with friends over meaningful conversations and good food. I love exploring the city, sampling the local cuisines and markets when I get the chance to visit other countries. I also have a fondness for animals, especially dogs. Additionally, I find joy in coordinating and collaborating with others. Watching ideas and creativity come to life through planning and execution is fun and exciting.

When I first visited ECB in 2018, I immediately sensed it was a special place. The worship, diversity, and presence of people from all nations made me feel at home. I’m honored to work here and be part of the team.  It is our desire that all who come to ECB feel welcomed, find a supportive community, and are inspired by God's love to make a meaningful impact for His Kingdom.
