Outreach with Rak Teh
This month Oasis will be joining Rak Teh to do outreach in their community to the homeless, women working in the sex trade, and others. There will be a time of orientation with a focus on the women, followed by a time of prayer. We will divide into small groups to distribute food bags. We will look for opportunities to talk, listen, share Jesus, and pray with those we meet. We will end with a time of debriefing.

What to bring?
- Filled water bottle
- Umbrella (against sun or rain :))
What to wear?
- Comfortable clothes & shoes (you need to walk)
Program:
- 3:45pm: Arrival/Fellowship
- 4pm: Orientation, specifically
about the Women’s Ministry/Prayer
- 4:30pm: Others from ECB will
arrive. Prayer and divide into teams.
- 4:45pm: Teams go out into the
community to distribute food & gift bags (there will be Thai translators)
- 5:45pm: Debrief Time

To get to Baan Rak Teh, you can use taxi or the bus. If you are coming by BTS, get off at Siam Center or National Stadium and catch a taxi from there. If you are coming by MRT, you can stop at Sam Yot station then catch a Motor Bike Taxi or walk. According to Google Map walking will take about 20 minutes. There is also nearby parking lot, which cost 40 baht an hour.
Children: You can bring your child to this outreach event, but you need to feel comfortable about bringing them. The neighborhood responds well to children and sometimes they open doors for conversation. If you have questions about this, please use the questions/comments space.
