In this study we learned that Jesus claimed to be the resurrection and the life, showing us that the relentless love of God will shine into our darkest hours and turn our despair into living hope. A. Conversation starter: What is one key insight that you gained from this study?

a. Fear of death: I am not sure what will happen to me after I die.
b. Fear of abandonment: God seems absent and silent; it seems He has forgotten me.
c. Fear of hopelessness: My situation seems beyond repair and God cannot redeem it.

Hebrews 13:5-6
17 …“Do not be afraid.
I am the First and the Last.
18 I am the Living One;
I was dead, and now look,
I am alive for ever and ever!
And I hold the keys of death and Hades.
B. My Convictions: Jesus is alive and has gained power over death and Hades. Write True or False in the following assertions if they match your convictions. Tell us which convictions are the weakest.
