WEDNESDAY Prayer and Fasting Focus
Wednesdays have been set aside as a day of prayer and fasting for the ministries of ECB and to ask God for a greater outpouring of the Holy Spirit among us. You are invited to join in praying and fasting during one or all meals, or from something that is important to you.

As you pray, mention by name those from ECB that the Holy Spirit brings to mind.
We wait in hope for You, O Lord, for You alone are our help and our shield. It’s in You that our hearts truly rejoice! We trust in Your holy name. May Your unfailing love rest upon the people of ECB, Father, even as we put our hope in You (Psalm 33:20-22).
Renew our minds, I pray. May we as Your people turn from the philosophies and entertainment of the world and truly think on things that are true, noble, right, pure, lovely, admirable, excellent and praiseworthy – may this be the standard for what we allow into our minds and hearts (Philippians 4:8).
Father, may our hearts remain steadfast, worshiping You, regardless of the news we hear, or the situations that we face. May we always praise You and remember Your great love for us (Psalm 108:1-4) (Pause and pray for those you know by name, who are encountering difficulties)!
I ask, Father, that our faith community might be marked by blameless living. May we walk according to, and fully obey Your Word (Psalm 119:1-4)!
