Prayer Guide 06 November 2022

Sunday

Father, I give You thanks this day and praise Your holy name! You lead me in victory in Christ and have made me alive in Him! You have nailed to His cross, all that opposed me. Thank You Lord Jesus, for the victory of the cross, for disarming the powers and authorities of darkness and disgracing them in public! You Lord Jesus, are head over every power and authority!

The enemy is under Your feet!

Thank You, Lord Jesus Christ, that I am in You and have been made alive in You. Although I was once dead in my sin, because of Your great sacrifice. I have been raised up with You and am now seated with You in heavenly realms! Therefore, in all things, I am more than a conqueror through You who loves me, I share in Your authority – the enemy is under my feet!

I ask Holy Spirit, for fresh revelation of my identity in Christ, that I might be strengthened to walk in His authority. I choose to put to death those things that belong to my earthly nature: sexual immorality, impurity, lust, evil desires and greed – which is idolatry, anger, rage, malice, slander and filthy language, and I choose to put on the new self which is being renewed in knowledge in Your likeness. I clothe myself in Christ! Deliver me from the evil one I pray and strengthen me to stand firm (Pause and ask the Holy Spirit to reveal any areas of sin in your life that may have opened a ‘door’ to the enemy and weakened your walk with Jesus.  Confess these before the Lord).

Pray out loud:

This day, I proclaim the victory of the cross over my life and pronounce in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, that I am a child of the Most High God, seated with Christ Jesus in heavenly places. In the name of The Lord Jesus Christ, I cancel any and all assignments or curses of the dark kingdom that might have come against me, and I commit myself to follow wholeheartedly after the LORD Most High.

I give You thanks, Father, for in all things, You give me the victory through Jesus Christ! Therefore, this day, I will stand firm in His righteousness and authority. I will not allow anything to move me in my faith walk with You.
I commit myself fully to Your work, knowing that whatever I do as unto You, is not in vain. Thank You Jesus, that the victory is sure!

In Your Name, which is above every name! Amen.

Monday

May we not come near to You with our mouths, but keep our hearts from You (Isaiah 29:13). May the words that we pronounce and sing to You be true expressions of love and adoration from our hearts.

Father, I ask in the mighty name of Jesus, that You, by Your Spirit, unify and strengthen my Thai brothers and sisters in this city (in this land) to be salt and light. Pour out Your Spirit on Your Church here, I pray. Revive the hearts of Thai pastors and may Your Word go forth with power and anointing!

Open the doors of our hearts, Father, and remove every obstacle that keeps us from acknowledging our sin before You and entering into deeper relationship with You (Psalm 66:16-20).

Tuesday

Father, may we be faithful in declaring Your greatness and power to the next generation. Forgive us for being silent or intimidated. Open our mouths that we might always recount Your goodness to those around us (Psalm 71:17-18; 78:4-6)!

Father, I pray for those among us who are feeling weak, or are in need, and ask that You rescue them and encourage them. May we, as the body of Christ, minister in love to those around us who are struggling (Psalm 82:3-4).

Wednesday

Prayer and Fasting Focus
Thank You, Father, that because of the finished work of Christ, we are more than conquerors. I ask that as a community of faith we would rise up and walk in this truth! Forgive us for being timid or passive. Give us holy boldness, I pray (Romans 8:37).

May we, as Your people, be strong in You and in Your mighty power. May each of us put on the full armour of God and stand against the schemes of the evil one! Strengthen Your people to stand (Ephesians 6:10)!

I pray for those among us who are tormented in their hearts and minds by the enemy and this day I proclaim freedom, in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ. Set captives free! Break strongholds LORD (Isaiah 61:1)!

Give to us, I pray, a fresh determination to follow hard after You. May we hear and obey Your Word and persevere through trials. May we increasingly be those who push back darkness in Jesus’ name (Deuteronomy 17:19; Exodus 19:5; 1 Peter 2:9; 2 Timothy 2:21-22)!

Thursday

Remind us continually Lord, to find our strength in You alone. May our hearts be determined to follow You consistently, to pilgrimage with You through every situation of life until we see Your face (Psalm 84:5-7)!

Father, You have promised peace to Your people if we walk in Your ways. O God, may we not wander from Your ways (Psalm 85:8).

I pray for those among our faith community who are wrestling through difficulties of all kinds, and ask that You give to them a sign of Your goodness, that they might be helped and comforted (Psalm 86:17) (Pause and pray for those you know, by name).

Remember us O God, that we are Your people – the people of Your pasture and the flock under Your care. Gather us in Your arms and carry us close to Your heart I pray (Psalm 95:7; Isaiah 40:11) (Pause and pray for those among us who need to receive the embrace of their heavenly Father’).

Friday

Lord Jesus Christ, may all glory and power be Yours alone, for You have made us, Your people, to be a kingdom and priests that we might serve God the Father. May we be found faithfully serving You! Thank You for loving us and freeing us from our sins by Your blood shed on the cross! Thank You for the victory of the cross (Revelation 1:5)!

Father, may we as Your people, choose today to clothe ourselves with Christ, to be alert and ready to pray – to pray in the Spirit no matter the occasion or situation that we are in – praying with all kinds of prayers and requests. May we become those who are increasingly faithful in prayer (Ephesians 6:18; Romans 12:12).

May Your power that is at work in us this day, be mighty! Strengthen us by Your Spirit, Lord, that we would rise up and be mighty men and women, for the purposes of Your Kingdom!

Saturday

Father, prepare the hearts of Your people today to worship You tomorrow. Prepare my heart, I pray! Make our hearts ready for the seed of Your Word, and may each of us come before you with songs of thanksgiving and joy!

Father, in Your good pleasure, make ECB prosper. May many be led to Jesus and Your love spread through the city of Bangkok through our lives. May Your favour rest upon us Lord. Establish the work of our hands (Psalm 127:1; Psalm 51:18; Psalm 90:17).

May we not come near to You tomorrow with our mouths, but keep our hearts from You. (Isaiah 29:13) May the words that we pronounce and sing to You, be true expressions of love and adoration from our hearts. May You receive the glory that is due Your great name (Psalm 29:2)!
