Connecting my heart to the heart of the Father
Father, how thankful I am that Your Kingdom is an everlasting Kingdom, one that will never pass away or be destroyed. Never. Yes Lord, Your Kingdom is everlasting, and Your dominion endures throughout all generations! You are the One true eternal God, creator of all things! Yes and Amen! Yet, in Your everlasting arms, in Your Fatherly embrace, I find refuge (Pause and consider the ‘embrace of God’ Give thanks for the refuge you find in Him – awesome God, loving Father). Thank You Father, for the great privilege of participating with You in what is lasting and eternal. This day, may I be found engaged in Kingdom matters. May I follow You Lord Jesus in such a way that I truly seek Your Kingdom and Your righteousness first, and not worry about the things of this world! Forgive me Lord, for I usually do things so very backward and clamour after what concerns me, leaving the things of Your Kingdom that need to be established in my life, in and through me, to be accomplished with whatever time and energy is left over. Set my heart aright I pray!
Today Lord Jesus may Your Kingdom be evident:
in all of my relationships. Regardless of where I am or who I encounter, at home, work or school, may I be a person of blessing, grace and peace. May I forgive others with the same great mercy that You have forgiven me. Your Kingdom come!
in my mind and my thought life. May I increasingly fix my mind on things that are eternal and not of the earth, for I know that whatever my heart and mind are consumed with, that is where my treasure truly is! Your Kingdom come!
in the use of the spiritual gifts that You have given to me. Open my eyes Lord Jesus to see ways that You would use me in the service of Your Kingdom, in the building-up of Your Church. Forgive me for holding back, when You have called me to enter into the life of the Spirit and the use of my gifts for the glory of Your name. Your Kingdom come!
This day, I confess, ‘You are all I want and need, and earth has nothing that I desire!’ May I be found faithfully proclaiming this until the day that the kingdom of this world becomes Your actual Kingdom Lord Christ! Reign forever and ever! Amen and Amen!

Praying the heart of the Father for the ECB Faith Community
Father, You know the needs that are represented in our fellowship. There is relational brokenness among us Lord, spiritual dryness, unconfessed sin, physical weakness, emotional distress. O God have mercy on us, heal Your people (Pray for those you know of by name). Awaken and revive Your Church in the city of Bangkok, Father. Restore first-love passion in our hearts that Your love might flow through the streets of this city like a mighty river! Give us Bangkok for Jesus’ sake (Pause and pray for the street/area where you live that the presence of Jesus would be made known. Ask God to reveal Jesus to your neighbours, co-workers and friends through dreams and visions, and the witness of your life)!
Father, You have promised to bestow on Your people the oil of gladness in place of the ‘ash piles’ of our lives (Isaiah 61:3). Many of us Lord, struggle under the memories of past hurt, abuse and loss. Heal our damaged emotions Father (Pray for brothers and sisters in Christ, by name).

Tuesday
Father, give us hearts that are fully committed to You (2 Chronicles 16:9). Destroy all double-mindedness, doubt and unbelief that is present among us (James 1:6-7). May faith, hope and trust in You well-up within our hearts. Increase our boldness in speaking Your Word, Father, and confirm Your Word among us with signs and wonders, that You, Lord Jesus, might be exalted and the unbelieving come to faith (Acts 4:29-30)!
As we gather as Your people each Sunday, may the walls of ECB resound with the praise of Your great name! May strongholds of unbelief and doubt be broken, and may there be salvation in Your house each week! Lead those who are searching, to salvation through Jesus!

Wednesday
ECB Prayer and Fasting Focus
Remind us continually, I pray, that it is not by our own strength or ability or intellect that we prosper and have victory in the many arenas of life – it is in You O God that helps us and enables us to prosper (Psalm 44:5-8)!
Father, I thank You that You are our refuge and strength – ever present in every situation. Keep us from fear regardless of what we see around us, may our hearts be steadfast trusting in You (Psalm 46:1-3; 112:7)!
Give to us, I pray, a longing to be still and know that You are God. May we turn-off the noise in our lives so that we can better hear Your voice and respond to the promptings of the Holy Spirit (Psalm 46:10) (Pause and consider the need for quietness in your own life).

Thursday
Father, I ask that my brothers and sisters will trust in You at all times, for all things and take refuge in You alone. May we always pour out our hearts to You that we might sing in the shadow of Your presence (Psalm 62:8; 63:7-8)!
O God, You who holds all things together, and the nations in Your hand; You, who in Your sovereignty has placed me here, in Bangkok, at this time in history; whose plans and ways are perfect – I submit to You. Your will is that none should perish, but that all should come to repentance, and in accordance with Your will, I ask that this would be so among us. May we, the church called ECB grow through new converts. May the Gospel be presented to the lost among us with power, the Holy Spirit and deep conviction, not only through words, but by our very lives. Teach us to make the most of every opportunity that we might constantly spread everywhere the fragrance of Christ. Allow us, I pray, allow me, to be part of end-time harvest, that Jesus, the Lamb, might receive the reward for His suffering. I ask all of this in His mighty name. Amen (Colossians 1:17; Isaiah 46:11; James 4:7; 2 Peter 3:9; Acts 2:47; 1 Thessalonians 1:5; Colossians 4:5; 2 Corinthians 2:15).

Friday
Father, I ask that Your glory spread over the face of the earth – over every nation and city, over the city of Bangkok (Psalm 57:11)! Protect and strengthen marriage relationships in our fellowships Father. May husbands and wives live out the love of Jesus in their homes and consider one another’s needs more important than their own (Philippians 2:1-4).
Lord Jesus, may our love for one another at ECB be sincere. Keep us from being superficial and uncaring, but teach us by Your Spirit to be devoted to one another in brotherly love and to truly honour one another (Romans 12:9-10).

Saturday
May the sound of Your praise be heard increasingly among us – may we all praise You O God, that the land in which we live might yield a great spiritual harvest and Your blessing fall on us (Psalm 67:3, 6).
As we come together to worship You, may we truly praise You with all our hearts among the nations and sing of You among the people! For great is Your love and faithfulness and You are worthy of all our praise (Psalm 57:9-10)!
May Your Word go forth with power and anointing by the Holy Spirit and accomplish all that you intend. Give us ears to hear what the Spirit would say to Your Church, make our hearts ready to receive the Word. Make my heart ready to hear and obey!
