Updated 14 March 2019
Dear ECB community,
Thank you so much for your cooperation and understanding over the last few weeks as we seek to be good stewards of our health and the well-being of others in regard to the COVID-19. The ECB leadership is monitoring on a daily basis the directives that are given by the Thai government and has determined the following updated guidelines to be the most effective for our faith community.
GUIDELINES:
1) If you are feeling ill or your child is feeling ill, or if you fall into one of the high-risk categories (elderly, have underlying physical illness) please rest at home until all symptoms pass.
2) Wash your hands regularly and avoid touching your face
3) Anyone who has visited or transited through one of the high-risk countries or regions in the last two weeks as identified by the Thailand Department of Disease Control should avoid attending any ECB gathering during the two-week self-quarantine time period (visit https://ddc.moph.go.th/viralpneumonia/eng/index.php for up to date information)
4) All family members who live with a person who has traveled to or transited through one of these areas in the last two weeks should also self-quarantine
As you may have noticed, ECB has taken and will continue to take additional actions to do as much as possible to reduce the risk of being exposed to the virus up to and including the wiping of handrails and elevator, adding hand dispensers, increasing signage on campus about these guidelines and disinfecting our CrossTown Children’s ministry area. Please be up front in assessing your own health during this time.
If you are unable to attend the worship service, please be reminded that all messages are available on the website and the App by 3:00 PM on Sunday.
This Sunday, 15 March 2020, services will proceed as planned at both 9:00 AM and 11:15 AM.
Gratefully,
ECB Elders and Pastors
