This week's Life Group Questions

1. REVIEW

In this study we learned that to engage in making disciples who make disciples, we must move beyond facing conflicts in a self-protective way. We discovered that the apostles faced four types of conflicts along the way. They were able to increase their spiritual power when they reframed the conflict, placed Jesus at the center and prioritized the interests of His Kingdom. In this session, let’s explore how you are facing conflict and what God wants you to do about it.

2. APPLICATION

A. What is your dominant tendency when facing conflicts?
___ Avoidance: I do not want to talk about it.
___ Defensiveness: I defend and attack.
___ Anger: I explode.
___ Manipulation: I lie and manipulate the situation to my favor.

B. Which kind of conflict are you currently facing? Share with the group.
___ Organizational Conflict: I need to make fundamental changes in the way we operate at
my job/ministry, and so far, we have been unable to improve it.
___ Theological Conflict: Some unforeseen circumstances are testing some of my biblical
convictions, and I need to explore again what God really says about it.
___ Tactical Conflict: I am facing a significant disagreement with another person in how to
approach certain situations. It seems that we will just have to agree to disagree.
