2. APPLICATION
A. Christians have different attitudes about the Holy Spirit. Which ones best describe your attitude?
Obsession: I’ve been focused on seeking the manifestations/gifts of the Spirit rather than on seeking
intimacy with the person of the Holy Spirit.
Apprehension: My fear of becoming one of those “weird Christians,” keeps me from pursuing more
intimacy with the Holy Spirit.
Apathy: I’ve been justifying my sinful behaviors, finding excuses to remain stuck in my spiritual life.
Intimacy: I am hungry for more of God in my life, and I treasure the presence of the Holy Spirit in me.
Repentance: I am quick to confess and repent from any sin the Holy Spirit convicts me about because I
do not want to grieve the Holy Spirit in me.
