Day 17 – Intercession

Sep 17, 2026  •  Benjamin Estacio

Scripture: 1 Timothy 2:1

"I urge, then, first of all, that petitions, prayers, intercession and thanksgiving be made for all people."

Devotional Reflection

Intercession is the privilege of partnering with God through prayer on behalf of others. As we pray for our families, church, leaders, and those who do not yet know Christ, we become channels of God's love, grace, and power.

Today, lift others before the Lord, trusting Him to work in their lives according to His purposes.

Prayer Focus

- Pray for your family and loved ones.

- Pray for ECB pastors, leaders, and ministries.

- Pray for government and community leaders.

- Pray for those who do not yet know Jesus.

- Ask God to strengthen and encourage those facing difficulties.

Prayer

Heavenly Father, thank You for the privilege of interceding for others. Today I lift up my family, church, leaders, and those who do not yet know You. Draw people to Jesus, strengthen those in need, and bring wisdom to those in authority. Let Your kingdom come and Your will be done in our lives, our city, and the nations. Amen.

Today's Declaration

- God hears and answers prayer.

- I will faithfully pray for others.

- The Lord is at work in the lives of those I pray for.

- Jesus desires all people to know Him.

- My prayers can make an eternal difference.

Reflection Question

Who is God placing on your heart to pray for today, and how can you faithfully intercede for them?
