WEDNESDAY Prayer and Fasting Focus
Wednesdays have been set aside as a day of prayer and fasting for the ministries of ECB and to ask God for a greater outpouring of the Holy Spirit among us. You are invited to join in praying and fasting during one or all meals, or from something that is important to you.

Father, may praise to You and Your great name, pour forth from the lives of Your people! Like the armies of King Jehoshaphat, may we praise You for the splendour of Your holiness and give thanks to You, for Your love endures forever! May praise from the lips of Your people rout the enemy and send him running (2 Chronicles 20-21)!
May Your Word constantly be in our hands, on our lips and in our hearts! Give to each of us a fresh hunger for Your Word, that we might truly be strong in You and Your mighty power (Psalm 149:6,9; Ephesians 6:10).
Father, I pray for those in our fellowship who are being tempted to turn away from You. Strengthen them to stand firm (Pray for those you know of by name who are in the midst of difficult situations…)!
Father, I ask that You grow us into a ‘house of prayer for all nations’ (Mark 11:17). Teach us to persevere in prayer, to always pray and never give up (Luke 18:1).
As we gather as Your people each Sunday, may the walls of ECB resound with the praise of Your great name! May strongholds of unbelief and doubt be broken, and may there be salvation in Your house each week! Lead those who are searching, to salvation through Jesus!
