Sunday
“It is not prayer that is strenuous, but the overcoming of our own laziness.”

Oswald Chambers, ‘If Ye Shall Ask’
Father, You are great and most worthy of my praise! How awesome are Your deeds! I am grateful, and I bless Your holy name Lord, for I have seen You at work on my behalf, again and again, and I give You praise.
Thank You Father, for Your great and bountiful provision. I remember when I had great need, and You greatly provided (Pause and remember and give thanks).
Thank You Father, for Your strong protection. I remember when You spared my life from destruction (Pause and remember and give thanks).
Thank You, for leading me and guiding me, Father. I remember when I could not find my way, but I heard Your voice behind me saying, ‘this is the way, walk here’ (Pause and remember and give thanks).
Thank You, for seeking me and saving me from my sin, for the great gift of Jesus, my Redeemer. I remember what it was like to be lost, without hope – without You! Thank You, for shining the light of Your presence into my darkness and not treating me as my sin deserves (Pause and remember and give thanks)!
Teach me, by Your Spirit, to live with Your praise always on my lips, that I might not forget all that You have done for me. When I look back and remember how You have been with me, how Your hand has been on me, I am filled with gratitude and praise. You have been faithful, O Lord, faithful to all Your promises. Therefore, I will not fear, even though the very earth may give way, and the mountains fall into the heart of the sea, regardless of the storms I face, my hope is in You Lord, and Your unfailing love for me.
I ask Father, that You write new songs of worship on my heart, for You are worthy. Give me an undivided heart, that I may fear Your Name and honour You. As I remember all that You have done in the past, increase my faith, Lord. Help me in my present weakness. Remove the shadows of doubt and forgive my unbelief, I pray. May all that I am, and all that I do flow out of a heart of worship and adoration for You.
For You are glorious O LORD, and I worship You alone.

Monday
Because we know that we are more than conquerors through Jesus who loves us,
Pray that as the people of God, from youngest to oldest, we will become those who are truly strong in the Lord and His mighty power.
Pray that we will overcome the evil of the world with good, with weapons of righteousness.
Pray that we will learn to walk in the authority provided for us through the blood of the Lord Jesus (Psalm 44:5; Romans 8:35; Ephesians 6:10; Romans 12:21; 1 John 5:4; 2 Corinthians 6:7).

Tuesday
Father I pray that You will fill my brothers and sisters in Christ at ECB, with joy and peace, that their hearts might overflow with hope through the power of the Holy Spirit. Where there is depression or despair, discouragement or doubt, may it be dispelled in Jesus Name and the encouragement of the Holy Spirit be poured out on their lives (Romans 15:13) (Pray for those you know, by name).
Increase our boldness in speaking Your Word, Father, and confirm Your Word among us with signs and wonders, that You Lord Jesus might be exalted, and the unbelieving come to faith (Acts 4:29-30)!

Wednesday
Prayer and Fasting Focus
Father, prepare my brothers and sisters at ECB for works of service (prepare me)! May Your name be increasingly glorified in and through our lives!
Keep us Lord, from serving in our own strength. Teach us to lean on You. I ask Father, that You build up and strengthen us, the body of Christ called ‘ECB’ (Pray for those you know, by name).
May we be built up and unified in faith.
May our knowledge of Jesus increase and change the way we live.
May our love for one another grow.
May each of us use the gifts that You have given us for the building-up of the body of Christ (Ephesians 4:13, 16).

May many be led to Jesus and Your love spread through the city of Bangkok through our lives. May Your favour rest on us Lord! May the work of our hands be firmly established for Your great glory (Jeremiah 17:5-8; Proverbs 3:5-6; Psalm 127:1; Psalm 51:18; Psalm 90:17)!
Thursday
Continually remind us, Father, that sharing with others is a pleasing sacrifice to You. May we be outwardly focused, so we don’t become self-absorbed, but enable us by Your Spirit, to extend mercy to people in every kind of need (Hebrews 13:16; Philippians 2:4; Jude 22-23).
I pray for our children and young people Father and ask You to strengthen them to stand firm in their faith and make a difference for Your Kingdom in their respective schools. Protect them from the evil one and preserve them for Your Kingdom purposes alone (John 17:15). May they follow You all the days of their lives.
Pray for those who teach our children in Crosstown, that those they teach might follow Jesus more passionately because of them! May they overflow with great joy!

Friday
Ask God to re-energize us by His Spirit, so that we do not become weary in doing good. Ask for increased faith, to believe Him for the harvest that He has promised (Galatians 6:9). Pray for those who come to ECB each week, seeking Truth, that their spiritual eyes will be open, and they will respond to Jesus.
Pray for your brothers and sisters at ECB, that God will fulfil every good purpose and every act prompted by faith, that the light and knowledge of Jesus will permeate every area of our living (2 Thessalonians 1:11).
Father, teach us to pray at ECB, to really enter into a deeper longing for you – greater faith, greater fervency. Teach us what it means to ‘pray continually’, to always pray and never give up (Thessalonians 5:17; Luke 18:1).

Saturday
Father, prepare the hearts of Your people today, to worship You tomorrow. Prepare my heart I pray!
May each of us come before You, with songs of thanksgiving and joy – open our lips that we might declare Your praise! May our hearts be unleashed! Pour out Your Spirit on us as we gather, change us and wash us by Your Word!
Keep us from just listening to Your Word, may we be those who do what it says (Psalm 51:15; Ephesians 5:26; James 1:22)!
Father, I ask that the Holy Spirit be poured out on the ECB campus, on my brothers and sisters in Christ – on all who enter the sanctuary! Convict of sin, change and transform us. Soften hard hearts! Revive us I pray!
Father, may we as Your people be those who are willing to go out into ‘deeper water’ with You. I pray for my brothers and sisters in Christ, I ask for myself Lord, keep us from standing on the shore and passively listening and watching. May we enter into the life of the Spirit and the work of Your Kingdom (Luke 5:1-11)!
