Day 26 – Forgiveness
Scripture: Matthew 18:21–22
"…Forgive... not seven times, but seventy-seven times."
Devotional Reflection
Forgiveness is a reflection of God's grace toward us. Because we have been freely forgiven through Jesus Christ, we can choose to extend that same forgiveness to others. Forgiveness does not ignore the hurt, but it releases it into God's hands and allows His healing to bring freedom to our hearts.
Today, ask God for the grace to forgive as He has forgiven you.
Prayer Focus
- Thank God for His forgiveness and mercy.
- Ask the Holy Spirit to reveal any unforgiveness in your heart.
- Pray for the grace to forgive those who have hurt you.
- Ask God to bring healing and restoration to relationships.
- Pray that ECB would reflect Christ's love, grace, and forgiveness.
.Prayer
Heavenly Father, thank You for forgiving me through Jesus Christ. Help me to extend the same grace and mercy to others. Heal every wound, remove bitterness from my heart, and teach me to walk in love and forgiveness. May my life reflect the mercy You have shown me. Amen.
Today's Declaration
- I am forgiven through Jesus Christ.
- God's grace is greater than every offense.
- I choose to forgive as Christ forgave me.
- Bitterness has no place in my heart.
- I will walk in love, freedom, and reconciliation.
Reflection Question
Is there someone you need to forgive today, and what step can you take to release that person into God's hands?
